Hey,
As you may know my house just sold today, and I couldnt make it to the rally. I am moving within the next two months, and have only done 2 rally's since I got my MCS, which happened to be the eighth one in the state. We need to do a rally before I leave to got to Florida. PLEASE. Come on Dave do it for me, you know you will have fun.

 

Here is the calender as I understand it through June.

This weekend: we had a drive
5/15 MINI5280 meeting
5/17 & 5/18 nothing planned
5/24 & 5/25 Memorial Day weekend
5/30 The Italian Job
5/31 BMWCCA autocross school
6/1 BMWCCA autocross Round 1
6/7 Concours in Denver @ arapahoe community college
6/6 - 6/8 the Glenwood MG club event
6/15 possible date for a rally Randy and I we're laying out.
6/21 & 6/22 nothing planned
6/28 BMWCCA Autocross Round 2

That's a lot of events on the calendar

Are you planning on coming out to Glenwood for the rally event on 6/6-6/8? if so are you planning on doing a MINI event/drive or just see the rally? I'd join 5280 but I'm a 7950 and can't get over the pass very often. Highway 133 is a very scenic and fairly twisty drive--Glenwood to Redstone would be fun, and there are a couple good lunch places there. Anyway, I'll keep looking for an event to get to. Thanks

 

I won't be able to attend the Glenwood event. My girlfriend is flying in from L.A. and my sister is flying in from Boston that weekend. So I'm staying here in Denver.

I am interested in doing mini5280 drives to other parts of Colorado further west than the front range. Maybe we could try to coordinate a drive later this summer.

BTW, I have elevation envy.
