Autocross in Colorado

I'm a new MINI owner. I attended an SCCA autox with a friend on Sunday at Pikes Peak Raceway and got a ride with a fast car (not MINI) and loved it. There were only two MINIs there. I looked at the BMWCCA web site and see a lot of other MINIs competing there. What is the differenced and why are more involved with BMWCCA than SCCA? Is it just that it is more fun competing with other MINIs??

you'll see more MINI's at the BMWCCA autocrosses because:

1. there are more MINI's to compete with
2. more MINI owners to talk with, and the real reason
3. you get 6-8 runs instead of three for your day of standing around.

Hope to see you at one of the events soon!

That last one is a real good reason. I think there is one on Oct 9th I'll try for. Thanks Mark!
