Hey All,

I just got an e-mail stating that the date has been postponed until spring of 2005?

Would anyone still like to go to Pueblo for a track day? I have no idea if it is available or open, but if people are interested I will call and find out.

I just talked to the guy at the Pueblo track and it will be open from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and the cost is $60.00. I have the day off of work so I am going to still go for the afternoon.

Hope to see some others. Let me know if you are planning on going.

Later
Brad

Count me in

Hard to pass up track time, especially with a few fellow MINI5280'ers. Besides a helmet, are there any other requirements? It will be my first time on a track?

No other reqs at all

Brad will give you some tips around the course but all you need is self, warm clothes, a chair to sit in (you won't want to drive the whole time) and a few water bottles...

That's it. Camera.

Let me know when / where you are leaving from, I will meet you.

FYI,
If you are planning on going to Pueblo on Monday, it is a good idea to goto their website and print out the track map and the desription of a lap at Pueblo.

Jonathan I am going to pick the shirts up before I go to the track, I am going to try and be at the track between 11:30 and 12:00.

See you all on Monday!!

Don't hit the curbs, they slow you down. Apex on 1 is very late. Don't drop a wheel off in 2, it's kinda rough. Tap your brakes in four let the car come out and you're set up for the esses. Don't park on the stickers, stay on the tarmac. Have fun, I wish I could go but I'll be in Kansas! FYI my best lap time was (is?) 1:52:34, I think I could knock another second off, I really had the line in turn one screwed up while I was timing myself.

John Souza, my cell is 303-588-7393 , Call me to meet up at Randy's at 10am if you want to drive down. I'm gonna get some 100 octane near him.

So how was Pueblo - fun I bet!

Heartland Park was fun in its revised configuration - though my time was cut short by a blistered right front tire.

We should try to get out to Second Creek some afternoon before it closes, anyone up for it?

Track Day at 2nd Creek or Pueblo

Those of us there already agreed to go back to Pueblo this year, hopefully before Thanksgiving in November. But, 2nd Creek would work for me.

Somebody pick a date, I will be there, and will bring others.

PS: I am faster now...

I sent an E-mail to Brian asking him to shred my check. It hadn't been cashed as of my last statement, so I can only assume that happened. I suspect that there is no office staff and Brian has other irons in the fire.
