Sorry Rachel! although I do want to see Boston, wanna be my guide when I visit?

Dave, I'm staying with my family, they live at the Pinery south of Parker.
I'll be aquiring transport via my mother, her 4Runner is fluffy and clumsy, but perfect for the top-half of Pikes Peak!

Cheers,
Ryan

I'll talk to Randy about this and we'll see what we can do.

It's a bit of a busy time for me, so a full on drive is out of the cards for me. I know Randy is headed out for the Ohio Pulley Install right after that (are you in on that?). If worse comes to worse, we should at least be able to do lunch. Otherwise probably a dinner GTG. That's my initial thoughts. Like I said though, I'll kick this around with Randy. I should see him tonight.

Ryan, with any luck I will be picking my rocket up from Schomp in Littleton that week/end. Crash repairs are getting close to done. Maybe lunch on one of those days. I won't know for sure when it will be done for another week or so. I have a spare room in Pueblo, if you need it.

Thanks for the offer Bradley!
However, I'll be staying with my mother at her house in Parker, so housing is all set for me.
Best of luck with your repairs turning out top-notch [crosses fingers]
Shoot me a PM, and we'll coordinate something

Cheers,
Ryan

Randy? (echo: randy...randy...randy...) Are you out there? No posts in 7 days, SEND A SEARCH PARTY!!!

Ryan,

I talked to Randy last night. He's been totally swamped, but he's ok. No need for a search party, he's at home.

Anyhow, we'll do something while you're out here. Are there any nights you already have plans for?

Dave

Nope! I'm totally open for suggestion. My only desires are to check out Randy's shop, drive Pikes Peak, find these "sand dunes" I heard about from a friend, eat at Wolfgang Pucks in downtown, and meet up with you guys

Since I have no schedule while I'm there, whatever works out easiest for you is good with me.

Cheers,
Ryan

Dude, the Sand Dunes are in my part of the state. Plan on four hours south of Denver. You might like a run to the Royal Gorge too. Telluride, the canyons. there is a ton, but it is far from Denver.....

The Dunes are cool--just hope for a cloudy day or you'll fry. I would also suggest driving mt. evans if you crave more high altitute scenery than just Pikes Peak. Plus its close to denver. http://www.mtevans.com. You can also do a 10 minute drive through of the Garden of the Gods on your way south to the Dunes. While you're downtown for dinner there's the REI flagship store, nike town, virgin records, denver art musuem, mint...etc.

oooh, I haven't been to the Denver Mint or the Garden of the Gods yet!

Darksky: thanks for the tip. Not sure about the drive down (it'll be in my mother's 4Runner <---suck!), but I'll let you know if I do!

CHANGE OF PLANS!

Dave and everyone of MINI5280; I'll be joining Randy and Mark for their trip to Springs for the SCCA event they are entering. This event starts EARLY Sunday morning, like ~7:30am, bashing heads with the previous MINI-meet plan.

Perhaps a meet at the event in Colorado Springs? Or maybe a Saturday evening at a nice ice cream shop?

Hey Dave,
Why don't we make a seperate thread for the meet at sonic. I'll be there, but if you do a speperate thread, we will have more people that might see it, because it has to do with a rally, because not everyone who could show up will read this.

OOH! I love Cold Stone! Major thumbs up, great idea Dave!

I was tenatively planning on rocketing from the airport to the sand dunes whereever in south Co., but if Ice Cream plus MINI's occurs, I'll be like "what sand dunes?!"

...mmm, I didn't know your lovely lady "fnx" was in town! "bow chicka bow, bow!"

Cold Stone Creamery
8441 South Yosemite Street, Littleton, CO 80124

Saturday at 7 PM

It's a-Go!
Cheers,
Ryan

sweet deal. Sorry for the mix-up earlier, but it seems that it turned into a double-feature MINI-Meet, and that's nothin' but good-stuff!
