RPM input for Traqmate Data?
I don't have experience with a Traqmate, but...
when I installed a Stewart Warner shift light, I patched into the blue/black wire from the coil, from which there are three wires. The other two are red and red/black... This is on a early 03 MCS.
The blue/black is a negaitve pulse, and that's what I think you might need...
Hope this is of some help.

Tony did it the hard way...
pin 9 of the OBD-II connector is a RPM signal. It runs at 2x what you think it would, but there will be a way to cal this (there is in the MSD unit, which is pretty much the same thing) Look at the JCW shift light install doc on motoringfile, I think....

Heck, a few years ago, I was only aware of the coil wire. If you can avoid splicing into the coil wires, I'd recommend that. Ask me why I know!
Matt, still looking to hear from you on that trike you told me about. Get my emails?
