2 or 3 layer Driving Suits -Best Price and Style ?
I have a suit, but need a better one for the season, 2 layer minimum
The prices and styles are very variable and sizing is confusing
Any tips, suggestions or makes that are more driver friendly, less "neon" ?

For the Phil Wicks season, a 2 layer nomex suite and a layer of fire proof underwear is required, or a 3 layer suite without underwear. I talked to Randy about this, and he said go with the 3 layer because nomex underwear is itchy. I also looked at pricing, and I have found better deals on 3 layer suites rather than the 2layer/nomex underwear combo.

Here is a good read from Pyrotect. They are a sponsor of mine and have been a good source of safety information. They demonstrated the different materials used used in suites by burning a piece of material wrapped around my finger. It was amazing how some fabrics protect from heat and others don't. Get the best and use underwear that wicks the moisture away from the skin.
Are you average size ?, I'm tall & lanky, none of the off the rack suits fit me very well, then I found this company,

They made me a custom, made to my measurements three layer suit for under $600. including shipping, my choice of colors and design, I'm very pleased with it, I thought of going the 2 layer/underwear route because at the races I see people hanging up their suits to dry between races, and underwear would catch the sweat first and dry quicker than a damp suit, but I can only wear long underwear in the worst of winter and thought there would be better air circulation without it, actually I don't even like normal underwear, let alone thick itchy ones,
