Even with just the "normal" flash on the EVOTech? You mean I might even have a little something for that Vette next time out .

Darn right you do... add a couple of gallons of juice and run with tanks 1/2 full.

Mark -

It was AWESOME to see you at the track!!! We miss you!

PFLASHINAZ - Thanks for posting the pics!! I now have a new desktop for my computer - my Cold Stone racer!

For those interested in getting your car race prepped - you have a couple of options - 1. Mini North Scottsdale - contact Ali Basikinci or Jeff Wieland - they can get you most of the basic parts - roll cage, seats, etc. They have done this numerous times and are good at it.

For those looking for performance mods - use DynoComp in Scottsdale, AZ. They have good prices (same or better than you can get on the web) and they Dyno before and after for free. Also, if you have a Mini Cooper S race car or plan to race it, you get a 10% discount on the chip.

For those looking for what the improvements are:

I had my Mini dyno'ed before and after.

Before:

Mini Cooper S
Billy Boat Exhaust
CAI
15% pulley

Dyno'ed 1st run at 160whp (front wheel hp), 2nd run at 170whp

After:

Mini Cooper S
Billy Boat Exhaust
Mini Madness Headers
Larger fuel injectors
Iridium Spark plugs
CAI
15% pulley
EvoTech Chip 100 octane

Dyno'ed at 188 whp

DynoComp states that that would equate to around 235 crank HP. (20% loss).

Hope this helps!

Also, you need to run the spec - larger sway bar and the Bilsteins. We are trying very hard to keep the cars equal to keep the racing in the driver's ability - not their pocketbook!!

Trust me - it is much more fun when you have a group of Mini's racing around a track on each other's bumpers trying to find a way to pass than it is to just power by and away from someone!

C'mon out - Next event is March 24-26th at Phoenix International Raceway! The BMWCCA event!

GTS (German Touring Series) or PT (Performance Touring) are two options.
