Video of Buttonwillow raceway

This was my first time driving on this track and I absolutly loved it. On my second session I managed to get a time of 2:09 with some people not pointing me by. I was hopeing for some people to leave by the last session so I can have one more good run, but as you can see in the second video at the end I went off track. My brakes locked and made my two front tires bald. This also was the first time on the track with my new springs. I am running swift 7k front and 5k in the rear. I also gotte say, the M7 RSB felt really good making the rear end of the car stiffer.

A friend of mine lining up. She is an amazing driver btw.

Flipped S2K. Both driver and pass were fine.

Advanced group lining up.

Great E30 spec line up.

Duuuuuuuuuuuude, that was awsome, you were great!! It was hilarious with the Miata, and then I thought you were gonna t-bone that M3. What happened to that one car that went off the track, just going to fast?? I totally want to go next time, if possible. Do you think I can run my cabrio? Give me a call!!

I love these tires. They are by far the best st/track tires I have used. I am running BC coilovers with 7k front and 5k rear swift springs.

Looks like you were having a great time and that's what it's all about. I think Buttonwillow is a nice middle ground between the Streets of Willow and Big Willow. It has some faster sections than SOW but not as fast as the big track. It's a good mini layout and has been the "home" for the track miatas for a long time.

Yeah Randy, its always a great time. I can't wait for it to cool down a bit and get more track time. I am looking forward to doing Ca Speedway CCW in August.

Just another option on tires might be the falken rt 615. Inexpensive and sticky 200 tred wear rating.
