Anyone have Traqmate with their MINI?

Need some help on final drive ratio calculation.

 

I have traqmate installed in my SSB Mini with chase cam as well. I have not done any calculations for final drive though. My son understands the software a lot more than I, and has used it to improve his lap times compared to mine. I had always been a half second quicker at both sebring and daytona, but he managed to cut that down and went faster than me. I have since taken back my advantage over him though. It is a valuable addition to have for racing.

 

Finally got my Traqmate setup with the proper Final Drive Ratio Calculation. Here are the numbers you need just in case anyone out there wants to check their Traqmate with Gear information. These number are for '03 MCS which will work for '02 > 06/2004 build 6sp manual.

Step1: enter your tire size.
Step2: Differential = 2.74
Step3: Gear - Trans
1 - 4.18
2 - 2.62
3 - 1.96
4 - 1.61
5 - 1.33
6 - 1.09

 

the gear ratios were changed for the 05-06 cars. not sure that these will work for all, but thanks and congrats on getting it set up.

 

Where did you take off from for the tach input?

 

PIN 9 of OBD2 port.
