I'm with you on the smokin deals, my wife wanted a f56 but tricked out it was 36K, so she jumped ship and took a awesome deal on an totally loaded Infiniti S for not much more. No doubt a totally different kind of car, but she loves her new low 5 second luxury sports car and that's what really matters.

I guess you are going to have to update your screen name now.
I know, LOL... What equipment are you planning to get on your Paceman?

That's the $30,000 to $35,000 question. I am still going through the 2014 build list but that could all change with a 2015. I'll get back with you on that. I love the look of the car in the above article.
The extra 7hp sounds good but torque has not changed so it must all be at the top end. That would mean the difference only shows up in very aggressive driving.

Likely a little extra kick between the 3K to 4K rpm range is want I'm thinking.
It would be nice if MINI would retro upgrade the tune for 2013 and 2014 owners, it would be a big step towards increased owner retention management.

I doubt there is a mid-range boost as the torque should be at its peak in the 3-4k range so power cannot be increased there without increasing torque. As the torque is staying the same it has to mean the power increase comes only at high revs
Good point based on the formula for calculations horse power, HP= (RPM * Torque) / 5252.
