No spacers... stock wheels are et50 (on earlier photos)... Winter wheels are BMW et40 (just the way I like it...).

Love the way this MINI looks. Just saw your MINI on the facebook paceman owners club. Mines "The Stig". I just joined. I still have pics of my r56 "Tux" on my profile here, but will be uploading "The Stig" soon.

I was fast enough this Saturday morning to "******" a JCW gauges kit on NAM "for sale" board!... I had a JCW temp. gauge on my 2 Clubmen but had to let it go with trade in. Now, I will have both temp. and "the other one"... The wait is on...
I'll update once installed

Hey Tata, Baron has door handle covers correct? I got some but have no idea where is the best location in the covers to put the double sided tape? Can you enlighten me on this?

Yup, door covers on redBARON....

I put a small strip of tape right on that spot where the light reflection is on the one in your hand (from the inside, of course)... That is enough. Covers are snug fit to stay "on" even with out tape...

Back to my Paceman!

Little winter parking on "mini ice rink":

And a first "mod" for New Year: 3.5" chrome tips replacement...

Now, where is the spring?

K&N Kit installed!

It ended up being not quite 100% fit and required some modification of heat shield box as fire wall on CM/PM is actually closer and different "angle" then other second generation N18 cars. So, a bit of "dremmeling" solved that. All good now.

Engine definitely "breaths" better and picks up on the pedal. Swoooosh is there, although less than I had on my R55 with NM CAI (that was scary!)... All together, happy.

Now, I admit: I am a sucker for large diameter rims!
After several weeks of searching, buying and selling various "solutions" I ended up finding a deal on KIJIJI I just could not pass. Less then 5000km used set of OEM 19s: JCW R129s in solid dark metallic gray finish (no, they are not black!) and Pirelli PZero RF 225/40/19. Basically, a dealer's upgrade for $3500 ( here in Toronto). My purchase price: $1500 (!!!).
So, rubber like new and when I cleaned brake dust off the rims- not a single nick. I mean, these wheels look like they were just unwrapped!

So, I posted another ad to get rid of RFs and get something that is not RF. But, if I don't sell it by the time spring REALLY comes to this part of North America, I will just mount them and be happy to burn them as they sit right now.

I will post some pix very soon. But, just putting one wheel against the car proved my plan was great: they look freaking awesome!

What a great deal on the rims, the r129's is definitely my favorite 19".

Congrats...

Yeah!

Scoring that gorgeous set of wheels was a perfect ending for a rather exciting car month.

Few ski trips:

Few nails! One rear tire got all the damage, resulting being replaced at the end...

A meet with my "best club buddy" who traded in his R55 for JCW R60...

And finally, a prize of nice R129 set of 19s....

And open air intake by K&N:

Now, where is the spring?

Those R129's in Matte Black looks great. Really fill the wheel wells. 19" largest size from MINI currently.

I really like the "gloss turned" style, seeing them in person is impressive.

Another wheel that looks great and also impressive. R134 MINI JCW Cross Spoke Wheel 19" comes in Matte Black also.

Thanks

The redBARON looks amazing! I really like the black/red theme. That's what I was going for when I got my Paceman back in December '13. Unfortunately, the car they had in the inventory only had black (-ish?) headlight rings, but chrome taillight rings. Been wanting to black out both the rings & possibly (somehow) get the brake calipers red. Those are the first round of modifications I'm planning.
