Zippeeshade???

Hello Paceman owners~! (all three of you??)

I have mine on the ship Tamesis, ya-y!!! I can't wait!!!

I have a question...I realize the paceman is based on the
Countryman so the zippeeshade for Countryman should
fit Paceman as well?? Did any of you install it already??

Hopefully, I can pick up the car and install zippeeshade right
then and there...(along with go badges I already have in
hand!! )

Thanks...

Not really sure. I know that in the Countryman, when the sunroof is vented, both the front and the rear panels tilt up. On the Paceman, apparently only the front panel tilts. I don't know if they're dimensionally the same in spite of this. You may want to run by your dealer and take some measurements.

not sure if they are the same dimensions or not. as I look at mine it seems as if the tint is darker on the paceman that it was on my Clubman so I didnt gie it much thought. That might change now that it is getting hotter out

@ASKtheteach - Thanks for your tip. I didn't realize the whole mechanism(front tilting
and not the back) is little different... I have to agree, to be sure, my best bet might be
asking my MA. Thank you for your time!

@wheetie- Thank you! I didn't know the sunroof come already tinted...?? Its gonna
get really hot pretty soon and so I want to be ready~! Since there might not be many
resources available yet, I might try and ask my MA...but thanks!

Yes, the sunroof is made of glass that is already tinted. On the Paceman and the Countryman, it seems to be darker than the others. I know that the one on my Countryman is significantly darker than the one I had on my R56.

Oh thanx for clarifying...

But um...should I reconsider tinting over already tinted
sunroof?? I don't know if its gonna b redundant(=waste
of $?)...or damage them?? Do people tint over tinted
windows/sunroofs?

Thanks!

Some people do tint their sunroof, but it's usually not recommended. It can cause the sunroof to crack. I live in South Florida and it gets really hot here. This is my third MINI and all have had sunroofs. Even with the lighter tinyt on my older MINIs, it really never got THAT hot inside the car.
