Now this probably wont happen as I still have a good key, should be able to order one from the dealer and all, but since I was looking at the procedure for CAS removal and it seems a pain, here we go-
Is the CAS just under the dash, and would it be possible to just cut the dash to access the CAS? After putting it back together, I'd cover the dash with a textured adhesive vinyl all the way to cover up the repair.
I know, sounds ridiculous, so I figured I'd ask as maybe someone who has taken the dash apart to get to the CAS can let me know how ridiculous it is.
