Wheel Bearing Manufacturer Recommendation

Hello,

So I need to replace my front wheel bearings again. The last ones (?) only lasted maybe 20K miles. Speculation is water intrusion caused them to rust after extended sitting. So what do folks here recommend for the best wheel bearing manufacturer to use?

Thanks
Jack

Cool

I can't imagine there's much of a difference among the major bearing manufacturers - SKF, NTN, NSK. They are all available through either ECS or FCP, likely with lifetime warranty. It does appear this winds up being about double the cost of non-OE quality parts, although ECS does list an "assembled by" with FEBI parts for about $250 complete Gen II). Up to you....

Try Detroit Axle. Inexpensive. I've had them on my R53 for four years with no issues.

FWIW, you can get the 'assembled by' kit from ECS - using the Febi parts - for both sides for $250, with a lifetime warranty; Detroit Axle is $160 for one assembly with a 10 year warranty. And oh, BTW, Detroit Axle is out of stock for the Gen II assembly.

Thanks for the information. I tried the Detroit Axle web site and they had nothing listed fro my 2014 Paceman.
