R60 Tail light issue
R60 Tail light issue
Driver side top bulb went out, looked like overheating. Replaced the bulb, but didn't fix it. Replaced the whole assembly, did not fix.
Swapped board with the passenger side, passenger side works.
Put back into driverside, does not work.
Is there a fuse I am missing? Or could it just be the footwell module?
Checked with Bimmerlink and it is giving an error for the light, cleared the error and the bulb is still out, and warning light is still active.
Possible note, Driver side fender lights also died, swapped bulbs and they are up and running.
So I am under the impression there is a wiring fault somewhere but wanted to narrow down the electrical issue before tracing wires and removing the footwell module for testing.
Only light out currently is driver side, top of the tower.

i used a bluetooth obd and Bimmerlock app to unlock the error which was caused by that bulb going out.
short circut lock was active. Once i reset it was working again.
I'm new to mini cooper stuff but have a similar issue with my r60 tail lights. Did you need the full version of BimmerLink to do this?
