Mystery oil leak

Hi everyone. I own a 11’ Mini Cooper Countryman S 2wd with 160,000 well maintained miles. I have an oil leak from up high on the right front side of block that flows down and leaks. I am using the photos above just to show the location. Have you seen this and what could it be?

Based on your picture, it starts at the parting line of the head and valve cover and leaks down to the lower areas. You can try checking the bolt tightness, but that may be a temporary fix if the gasket is going bad which I think is pretty common.
