Radio or center display F45 Fuse blown plus no display or radio
Hi All,
Thanks for having a great forum. Hopefully i can contribute when needed on any R60 stuff.
Bit of a strange issue. The fuse f45 continaully blows. on the scan, the car shows no error codes. Not sure if the radio/sat NAV has a scan section, this might be why it isnt showing since the F45 is shorted.
I can turn on display by activating it on the scan tool to back light on/off but that's about it. So i don't think its the display.
There is voltage ~12.2v going to one side of the fuse. I think the wiring diagram goes from the Interior fuse box to F45 then to radio/radio with sat nav.
Are these radios/sat nav''s known to die or fail? as in the radio is shorted/blown or am I looking at a short somewhere with wiring? If there is, any pointers as to where i should look at?
The car is an R60 2016 countryman, with N16 motor and is automatic. It has the harmon kardon amp + speakers.
Cheers guys
