HELP!!! The web is no use with this one ... My FMR (footwell module) works perfect - no issues. I want to do LED conversion, yet Bimmercode shows Error. How do I get past this? Is there another option? Again - everything I read has to do with an already failing FMR. Mine is not failing. I believe it wasn't properly reset once a battery was replaced, but that is an assumption. I have already changed all the bulbs over to LED and the chimes and warnings are enough to make me want to drive it off a cliff!

 

Mine has been like for a long time now. I know I was able to get into it with bimmercode in 2022 but now just error same as yours. But my BM700 bmw/mini scanner shows no issues at all

 

if i can't figure this out - i am looking at these alternatives (any input appreciated):

= is there a fuse or relay i can replace?
= can i remove the audio signal to the blinker sound-hazard sound-warning chime-reverse chime.
= disable the navigation system or certain elements of the system (yes, i'm at that point)

 

Its you get LED bulbs that are Canbus like our Ziza LED you will not get a chime. Non Canbus wil get you chimes all the time.

I already coverted everything to led. I'm not going back or replacing them again. I'll rip out the sound system before I go through that again. Someone has figured this out. I just need to track them down. This whole "bricked" or "bad" FMR3 is ********. Seriously. If this is true, every vehicle and model with it in the US would have a recall. Someone is making a lot of money off this issue. I refuse to dump anymore cash into something that will break again if my battery dies.
