R60 Carpet removal

Hello all,

Due to water ingress into the drivers footwell (RHS UK) I need to remove the carpets.

How?

I have removed all trim, seats, centre console , accelerator pedal.

The carpet is in one piece and goes under the heater box, the air con drain also seems to go out through the bottom

How do you remove the carpets without removing the heater block?

Many thanks

Dale

Hello,

You can find some stereo installs. But not one picture of a full take apart.

Full carpet.

All the break down of the trim and pieces are here: Trim center console... etc

Hope that helps.

If it gets wet put it in a warm garage with a fan blowing on the interior, should dry it out in a day or two. Also check the drain tubes on the sunroof, they can get clogged or separate from the tube

You can fix it with clamps
