Two questions:

A few weeks ago, I noticed a faint clicking while making tight left hand turns at a low speed on my 2011 justa countryman. My first instinct was a worn CV joint. However, I lifted the car and inspected all four boots and they look great. There is no evidence of leaking or cracking, the rubber feels good, and I haven't noticed any other red flags. I've had a CV joint go out on a previous car and on that car the clicking was much louder and was louder at higher speeds. It also had the tell-tale grease. That's not the case here. It only occurs when accelerating from a stop through a tight left turn (like in a parking lot or turning left at a stop sign). There is no vibration of any sort. Aside from all of this I had two pre-purchase inspections and an oil change when I purchased the car a month ago and this didn't come up with any of the three mechanics. Any ideas?

On the other corner of the car, there is an inconsistent knocking noise come from the passenger rear tire area. Again, my first instinct was a suspension component, but when I was under the car last night I couldn't find anything out of ordinary. There is no excessive bounce in the rear of the car or excessive play in any of the suspensions components. Nothing looked worn, there were no damp spots around the struts. All I found was a chunk of the underbody shield that was broken and flapping against the car, so I cut it off to see if that was the source of my knocking. This morning the sound is still there. Again, any ideas?

I'm scratching my head on both of these.
