Need some ideas!

Hey guys, so I've got a 2011 countryman s, (not all4) and I'm having problems. Scenario; previous owner put a fuel system cleaner (I know ) and it threw a few engine codes (random multiple misfires). So, typically when that happens on my other vehicles I clear the codes and run some premium fuel through it. Done. Now, halfway through my next tank of gas, the car dies as I'm pulling into a parking spot. I wait and it will not fire. Got it home and have checked the low pressure fuel pump in the tank, and have now replaced the air filter, and all spark plugs which were fouled up, but not terrible. based on the plugs that I pulled, it looks like the engine has been running lean. After replacing the plugs, I put a little eather in above the t joint to see if if will fire, nothing doing. So, now I have a charged battery, new plugs, good fuel, air, and i know for certain that the low pressure fuel pump is engaging. it acted like it would fire when i cranked it after changing the plugs, but it still will not fully fire and run. I plan to run a compression test, but is there anything else I can test to see what might be the issue before I take it to a mini dealer? My closest mini dealer is 200 miles away and I will have to trailer it there, so I wanted to make dang sure it's the HPFP (which is under warranty) before I do that (200 miles with a diesel is no fun).
