Alta AP, it'll turn your "S" into a JCW for half the cost, really .
Then get suspension mods.

Agreed if you have the money I'd get the accessport! Wish I could afford it!

Ditto to the above. Get a tune (best bang for your buck) then suspension mods (coilovers, unless you only want aesthetics, then lowering springs are probably fine). Oh, and get rid of your runflats if you haven't already.

Have fun modding!

I just bought a used pure silver 07 S with 16,400 miles on it. After having a wrx and 2 STi's all with Accessports, I had no doubt that I needed it for the mini. The difference it made on the subaru's was unreal, and I'm hoping I get the same feeling with the mini. I ordered it last week, and it should be here on Wed....so I say go with the tune.

My next purchases will be black rims, possibly springs, and some stripes.

I would like to give you something different to think about beyond just power. Try upgrading the suspension before adding more power.

You could think about the following:
1. front camber plates
2. larger rear sway bar
3. better tires

Don't get coilovers unless you're actually going to track your car.

Most people don't even fully utilize their coilovers.

I'd go with a set of lowering springs, Ireland Engineering camerplates, and a rear sway.

After that, cat back or turbo back if emissions don't matter where you live, bigger intercooler and a tune from Jan.

Brake Pads! Tires! Are the to biggest things you can do that will improve over all injoyment the most. Like riding a huffy and jumping on lance armstrongs bike in comparison.

The accessport is for sure your best bet my only problem with it is my tires keep spinning so I would recommend some decent tires I love the toyo proxies 4 I had on my old vr6 I'm saving up for a cheap set of time to put some on now then exhaust for a nice deep tone

FYI many coilovers are more for the street than for the track.

Suspension and brakes first. Learn how tonpush your car without extra power then smack it with intake and turbo back and Cobb AP. You'll have a very fun very quick car!

Depends if you want something that is 22 MM or 20 MM or 19 MM and your driving style.

I have a few friends with the 20 MM Whiteline. Not too expensive and gives you good adjustment range. I have the 22 MM NM Engineering coming from a 19 MM. I ran the 19 MM at stiffest and the 22 MM at the softest.

I would go with a 19mm if your only street driving. And you could change the settings on it.
