P0015 Code Question

I had this code pop up twice now. Both times when running the AC. It goes off after after I turn the AC off and stays off even if I turn the AC back on. I'm wondering if it's just the sensor, or if the extra load of the AC is causing problems with any timing. Just curious if anyone else here has had this issue.

I read what the common issues could be for this code. Just seemed weird that both times it was when I was running the AC.

Welp, car is going to the shop to get looked at. I replaced the sensor and it hasn't happened since, but I'd rather get it onced over while I have it under warranty.

This is the error code I was getting that the Mini dealership said was the Vanos Solenoid. Is that what you replaced? Was it hard?

It was exactly the issue. Mine was the one on the front/exhaust side I believe it was called.. it took 10 minutes and was super easy. One bolt and just some gentle pulling and twisting on the part. Oil around the o-ring of the new one, slide it in and plug it back in and I was good to go. No more cel 😀

I got the part from the dealer as they said it was an updated part. They price matched with pelican parts so if you go to the dealer, ask if they will do the same.
