Wind Noise w/ Thule Edge Aeroblades 7601
I picked up these pricey roof racks for several reasons, I think they look sharper than the OEM model and THULE seems like a trusted manufacturer; so far I think it's a bust.
While they look swell on my 2015 Countryman, I can't figure out why the front rail is making a high pitch wind noise from 35-60mph on the passenger side. The sound subsides after 65mph.
Deductive reasoning has had me:
-adjust the front bar from 6",7", 9" 10.5", & 13.5" from the front flush rail.
-swap the rear rail for the front
-switch the "wind diffuser"'s strip direction pattern
But it's all to no avail.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks,
Robert
