Hi all!

Searched the threads and couldn't find the measurements for the appropriate location to place the roof racks on a Countryman. I bought them 2nd hand without instructions. I hear that the correct placement cuts down on wind noise.

Any ideas?

There may be placement that helps cut down wind noise, but I've tried a few different positions and the difference has been negligible. They're just noisy, that's the way it is. Especially with the moonroof. Mine have a whistle at certain speeds, but at this point I've gotten used to it and it doesn't bother me anymore.

 

I was able to obtain the placement measurements from another Miniac @ LXM. I just repositioned them, but haven't driven yet. The sky may fall out any minute so moonroof testing isn't really possible.

Thanks for the info , here are some more bars that fit like the Rockymounts, which you can pick a color to match your MINI.
