Anyone know how to replace this piece?
EDIT: Well crap. Realized after I typed all this that you have a CM. I have a R56 so YMMV on this procedure :D
Are you replacing the whole piece? First pull part of the rubber seal off. Just start at teh far passenger side and it'll lift right up until you've gotten enough of it off so that you can get that plastic panel off. Then there are two plastic nuts. One right next to the shock tower and another closer to the fender of the car. Then there is another bolt in the top left corner... closest to the passenger side mirror. With those three fasteners removed lift up on the front (closest to the front bumper) of the panel. Then just work/wiggle it off and out past the hood and windshield wiper.
Putting it back is kind of a pain but more because it's just fiddly. If you look at it you'll see there is a seal at the edge of the windshield. Don't knock that loose if you can help it. The side that goes up against the windshield gets put in place first then press down on the front edge (towards the front bumper) to get it in. You can reach up through the battery access panel to make sure the seal and panel have met up like they're supposed to around the windshield. Like I said it's not hugely difficult but it can be a pain. Then the bolt and two plastic nuts go back on. Don't forget the seal.
