At least you get a new car...

I'm also becoming really sensitive to drivers texting. Yesterday, in rush hour stop-and-go traffic, I noticed the driver in the car behind me continuously look downwards for seconds at a time, most likely texting. Although she left a moderate distance between her car and mine, an accident might have happened if I had to brake hard or if another car had quickly cut in front of her. Needless to say, I got out of that lane and let her follow another potential victim.

 

Yeah it's really sad that people won't learn until they are directly affected. I wish there was some way to report them in a legit way. Maybe if you're a passenger you're allowed to take a photo or something and report? But that would open up another can of worms i'm sure.
