My MCC 2012 developed this annoying squeaking sound every morning for 3 weeks now. I only have 1500 miles on the car . I went to the dealership and told them about it, so they kept the car overnight and turn on the engine that morning. They denied to hear the sound and told it's mormal. How can it be normal that when I bought the car I never hear that sound. I'm going back to the stealership next week to talk about this issue. It's very frustrating .

 

From what I know there is a serious issue on the time chain my mini is as we speak in mini service. Does any one know if there has been a recal issued for this?

 

Did any of you get an answer from the dealership on this? I have the same noise :(

i don't think you'll have any problem, since you are within the warranty. but insist on the issue. i had to pay 1,600 dlls for that repari!
