Dead Battery, Key FOB Stuck, Frozen Break Pedal --Road Side Assistance
My 2009 coup was dead this morning.
It sat for two days with the ignition on.(I think
)
The key/FOB was stuck and the break pedal was frozen.
I called Mini road side assistance for advice thinking they would charge me for jump and that I'd then need to call AAA.
She said I was still covered

The guy came out and tried his portable charge box--nothing.
Then he brought his truck in and tried that--still nothing
Then he tried both and it started-----------------------

Thank You Mini Road Side assistance !
He said AAA would have had me get a new battery after one try.
It's been in the driveway for about 30 min.
Should I take it out on the Freeway and get it up to 60,70,80+ mph to give it a real good charge?

Well
I did take it out immediately after the jump and drove around for about 45min, getting up to 80 a few times.
It seems to be starting up pretty well.
Charging takes 48 hours. It's only $10 bucks at Interstate Battery but if they say I need a new one then I just went through a big hassle taking out and driving it over there then picking it up and putting it back in.
I think I'll just take my chances and if it happens again I'll call AAA and get a new one.
btw
Mods--This thread may be in the wrong place. I have a coup.
Maybe there is a general place for battery issues?
