Hey Shark 715 hope you are okay with what happened with Sandy this week. I grew up in Mt Laurel and hung out at LBI as a kid/teen and it breaks my heart to see the devistation. I filed the complaint with the SC Consumer Protection Agency and it was assigned to an agent. By the time the state reached out to me Mini agreed to settle. I made it pretty clear to Mini USA and the dealer that I was not going away and leveraged the fact that I work in the automotive industry and new how the game worked. I hope it works out for you.

 

Thanks. The devastation at the shore is horrible, but certainly not unforeseen. When I was a kid in the 1960's my parents tossed around the idea of buying a vacation house on LBI, but after seeing what the 1962 storm did they backed off the idea. We have been warned for decades that what finally happened this week was inevitable. Kudos to the weather forecasters for being able to accurately predict such a weird storm path with many days notice, and help keep the number of injuries and deaths so low.
