iOS 5 problem
iOS 5 problem
I've got mini connect w/ nav. I don't use the arm rest cradle; I just stick with the auxiliary cable. I've always been able to use my iPhone to play music through the auxiliary cable and use the interface through my screen. I don't really like using the connect app that much because to me it looks low quality compared to just the auxiliary app on the home screen.
Here's the problem, I recently updated to iOS 5 and now when I hook up my iPhone, it doesn't give me my song list, albums, artist, etc. I did recently add a bunch of new albums too, but that's never been a problem in the past. Just to be sure I checked it out in my wife's R56 and the same thing happens.
I was wondering if anyone else had this issue? Did it happen because you added a ton of new music, or when you upgraded to iOS 5? Is there a new update on the connect software out there that I'm not aware of? Should I call MINI? Please help, this really sucks.
