Cooling fan won’t start

Hey all!

So first off I got a dreaded CEL and noticed the AC was not cooling good when the car is stopped. As soon as I start moving the AC works great.
The code I got was P0597.

so I changed the thermostat housing to a new OEM thermostat housing with temp sensor.
I cleared the code and it has not come back, but the AC still is not working while stopped.
I also feel the car kind of hesitate or stutter at times when stopped. I think when the AC compressor kicks on. The cooling fan still does not work at this point.

So I kept checking and then noticed my fan is not spinning at all. I tried jumping the fan and it would not start. So I replaced the cooling fan.
I am having the same issue. The new fan won’t start as well. Engine is reaching 220°F and no fan.
I checked all fuses and they are all good.
One strange thing is I have only 3 relays, the 4th relay slot for fan is empty.

any ideas on what I should check next?
its a 2012 r60 base.

Fixed my problem.
the old fan was bad. The new fan was good but the plug was bad.
fixed the plug in the new fan and all works as it should now.

Thanks for checking in with the fix. If more people would do that it would be awesome!
