Drivetrain R60 all4 limitations
R60 all4 limitations
Hey all,
Been toying with the idea of kswapping my mt r60s all4. Trying to figure out a way to use the all4 setup but afraid it won’t take much power. I would like to get to 400-600hp but from the little info out there it looks like I shouldn’t expect to be able to push the system past around 300hp which is understandable considering what power it was designed for. Does anyone have any knowledge on how far the system has been pushed? Sounding more and more like we would have to scrap the all4 and replace with all upgraded honda parts.

Just and fyi: I'm no expert, but FWIW, the R60 SAll4 has a notoriously insufficient clutch. It can barely handle stock. I'd be weary of relying on it to handle increased output, especially if yours is second hand. My '15 (supposedly had been worked out by this year model) needed a new clutch by ~60k. I blame the previous owner, but there are several other accounts of similar issues.
