There are a ton of silicone coolant hose kits for the N18s out there. All of them say they DON'T fit the R60 with the exception of the Mishimoto kit. Is this....
1) a mistake on behalf of Mishimoto (possible)
2) they flex enough to still work (very possible)
3) Forge and everyone else was too lazy to test it out but feel there might be a difference (unlikely but not impossible)

It's kind of odd. When you look at the product page it doesn't mention the R60/61 but when you search for them you get that product as compatible.

What are everyone's thoughts here?

Also, I know silicone isn't the greatest coolant hose... but I'm waterless now so the swelling isn't a thing for me.

I looked through RealOEM and I know that the factory coolant hoses are NOT THE SAME... but I wonder to what extent...

 

Hi did you find out if the R56 n18 hoses fit the R60?
Oh... just checked... Mishi doesn't make for Countryman anymore.
