I have been looking at having my ECU tuned and originally only knew about the NM-Eng. option which appears to have some decent results, but I was hoping to do their stage 2 which requires a better intercooler. I had emailed them and they said that because I am in California if I wanted to stay legal with CARB/SMOG I would have to upgrade to the Countryman JCW intercooler which is a FMIC and much cheaper than other aftermarket options. I just want to know if anyone has any insight into this and if it would work.

Also, there are no Manic tuners in my area and it would seem that the NM Stage 2 is equivalent to a Manic stage 1 ish?
