Reason 1 - Gasoline, like any other liquid, evaporates less when it is cold.
Reason 2 - Oil gets a lot thicker in cold weather. .
Reason 3 - Batteries have problems in cold weather, too.

my 2012 cms all4 so far has started on the first try every time in the cold, coldest so far was -6F
it cranks a little slower, but fires right up and idles nicely
i think a trip to the shop is in order

I'm using 95 octane gasoline.
I asked about thermostat, it is ok.
How much do you press the start button (seconds)?
Do you press throlle during pressing start button? (left foot brake, right foot throlle)

modern cars do not need throttle input during cranking.
in cold weather (15F/ -9C) I press the button briefly (<1 second) and the mini fires up instantly. cranking never takes more than 2 seconds (if that).
battery age can also play a big role in starting behavior. cold weather does affect battery cranking power.

your octane ratings are probably not the same as in the US (I assume you're not). IF they are are RON instead of R+M/2, then you probably want 98 RON which is roughly equivalent to a US 93 R+M/2. 95 RON would suffice but on a modern turbocharged motor, higher = better generally.
