R60 ALL 4 Torque Arm Bushing now Available

We are pretty excited to have a new affordable and effective mod available for your ALL 4 Countryman the NM R60 Torque Arm bushing. This has shown to be one of the best mods for the standard R56 and now we have it for you R60 owners. Check it out, and if you already have one post and let everyone know what you think.

Sorry this only fits the ALL 4 Countryman, we will let you know when we have one for the 2WD version.

Looks interesting, are there any installation instructions available for this?

Yes it comes with install instructions, but you don't need them. Its very simple just remove the 2 bolts on the lower motor mount, pop the mount out, then put the bushings in it, then reinstall.

Got this installed today. Was a bit of a struggle getting the torque arm (with inserts installed) back into the mounts, but after a bit of wiggling got it all back on the car. Seems if the back upper edge of the insert was slightly shaven it'd slip right in. Otherwise, it's nice and snug in there.

I haven't been able to push the car too much after the install, but I can definitely feel things transfer a bit quicker.

I had the exhaust and this installed at the same time, so hard to completely separate where the positives come from. I'm quite happy with the changes I've made so far. There is more noticeable vibration from the engine with the Torque Arm Bushings (as expected, since they stiffen the engine mount), but I like the added vibration. As for transfer of power, all I can say is that it feels better.

My feeling is that it's worth the money, especially since it's a relatively simple mod.

I have these installed on 11 Clubman, a long with the JCW Stage 1 and am having a noticeable vibration , but only in the Sport mode for reverse and Park. I thought it was something with the stage1 install, but could it be coming from the Torque arm bushings?

Thanks,
Spencer

Yep, simple mod - totally worth what little money it costs. If nothing else, you feel more engine lope...

Vibration comes with the territory, though it shouldn't be anything violent.

I got a set of these inserts for christmas and finally got around to installing them today. I'd say the line about transferring power to the wheels more quickly is a load of marketing BS, but I do like the added vibration from the engine. It makes shifting in general much nicer and starting from a dead stop much easier since you can feel the engine more. I would hazard a guess that there would be less threads about stalling the engine if it came this way from the factory. I'd recommend it in a heartbeat.

I've been a little disappointed with how MINI has made their cars quieter/smoother in the cockpit and overall much less sporty since the 1st Gen cars. I'll concede that it's nice to have a quiet, smooth ride on long trips, but I like feedback from the engine, hearing the exhaust, etc. Adding these bushing is a (small) step towards that end.
