Half cover recommendations?

I bought an R59 yesterday (to go with my R50 and the wife's F54). But we live next to a very dusty road and the R59 will be have sun on the rear window from about noon onwards, so I think a half cover is needed to keep the hood in good condition. Can anybody recommend one? At the moment this one seems the best option: https://www.shopforcovers.com/eu/hal...2011-2015.html

Looks terrible but I like the approach.
I've been using separate pieces. One for the windshield, one for the rear window. one for each windows. Mostly to protect the car interior against the sun heat when we aren't home and the car doesn't park in the garage. Funny enough our windshield one completely fail appart today after some year of use. Nothing is eternal...

I like these half covers. I have used full covers on cars. The issue with those is that if you put them over a dirty car then your cover is contaminated and can scrape the paint. So the usefulness is mixed.

Let us know what you find!

So I'm in the market as well so I found this:
shop cover
Sadly they don't seem to shop to the States.

Edit: Just realized it's the same vendor.

I decided to go with the light version (I mostly need it on the go). I didn't feel I needed the extra weight of the black which does look a little funky on their images for some reason. And I like the simplicity of the elastic. I think it's actually easier to put on than relying on the wipers and trunk to hold the ends.
I ordered it from their eBay global shipping store. I'll let you how it turns out...
Should arrive in 2 to 3 weeks...

Like you I did not find much else R59 specific.

Got the 1/2 cover shipped from the UK. It took for ever. I'm sure the tariff and import made it complicated.

Overall impression:
- Not cheap (nothing is these days).
- Single layer material. No padding but good quality. Hopefully it will last better than the cheap stuff on Amazon.
- Works well and is surprisingly easy to put on.
- Might have been nice to put some magnets at the edge along the windshield as it is a little floppy there and back.
- But overall is nice and will definitely help with sun and heat when parked for a longer time outside. I like that it covers all windows at once and even add a protection to the top.
- Comes with a zipped bag and doesn't take much room which is great to keep inside the car at all times.

Conclusion: Worth it!

No pictures yet. I'll try to take one when the occasion arise...

Got one of these and a full cover, I'm in the UK 🇬🇧
the main issue is that the elastic seems to be a little too stretchy as on a windy day the cover gets too lively when the wind gets underneath it

otherwise it gets a fair bit use for the rain here rather than uv protection
as other say only used on a clean car

Also in the UK, I had one of those exact ones and it broke early last year in the strong winds we had around February time when I failed to take it off before a day in the office.

I've replaced it with one designed for a convertble so it can cover my spoiler/boot lid as I have a leak somewhere. I also have one of their full car 4 layer versions for the depth of winter.
