Brand new to Mini

Just just a 2012 roadster s and am looking for suggestions to improve performance. I am thinking a tuner would be the best, but then... which one???

I would appreciate.any help.

First thing, congrats!

Now, a little history on the car? How many miles? How does it run?

I would start with getting all maintenance up to date. Change ALL fluids, new spark plugs and maybe new coils, make sure the engine is running good before adding a tune. A tune is going to sharpen the response of the engine, and any issues will be amplified. The last thing you want is to question if the tune is causing and issue, or it is exposing something that was there before.

That all being said, get in touch with @Lou@Prototype-R

It was just turned up at the factory but there may be something they missed.

100k miles. Runs really well. Extremely fun to drive

Yes, have the car squared away in any possible way before performance mods. Drive with it as is for a small while. You don't want to get performance mods and hesitate if it's what you did or something else when problems pops up! I changed the spark plugs and coil last summer on ours after some weird miss fire and hesitation issues. 10 yrs and 80k on the clock when it happened.
