Adjusting the rear spoiler

I just replaced the active rear spoiler on my 2014 R59. All works except I have a a 1/4 inch gap in the full down position at the rear. Does anyone know how to adjust it?

Thanks in advance.

Ron

adjustments

I found this to be pretty tricky because the first time I got it a bit out of alignment and it didn't close properly. There are T30 screws under that are too short for a ratchet/torx socket - so I had to get something that was only about 1 in to get to all 4 screws.

The best way for me was to loosen all 4 screws until they just barely held the spoiler in place. Then I used the motor to raise/lower and hand adjusted until it fit the void correctly. Once I was happy I tightened all 4 down at the same time - again using the motor to raise/lower to ensure no binding occurred.

If it is too high on the back-end only, then maybe you need to turn these adjusting washers that I've also shown
