I have an R58 but since the R59 is similar I wanted to post hear as well.


Just noticed today that behind both seats where there would be rear floor mats if the car had a backseat is soaked. The carpets are dry in the front. Does anyone have an idea of where the water could be entering? Both door seals leaking or maybe entering from underneath car?? I did have both door seals replaced years ago due to excessive wind noise.

 

That's a tough one. Due to the soft top of the R59 I don't know they can be compared on that level.
The seal condition is a bit different and I suspect the rain path is very different especially as water Ingress is much more likely to exist around the perimeter of the soft top, while at the same time the soft top has it's own "gutter".
Even the window seal is very different.
At most if the water comes from the bottom, but short of having a rust hole I don't see that being a likely situation...
