I think if you install the matching toffy knee bolsters that would look great.

Driver Right - 51459203251

i'm so jealous of you roadster owners with toffee lounge leather interiors. if it weren't for practicality and cost prohibitiveness, i definitely would have gotten one of those instead of my hatchback.

why is it not practical? it's nothing like our mini-yours seats (which I love btw) where you must pay attention and remove any possible stains...

Don't be jealous, spingq. You have a perfectly fantastic interior yourself.

I hope you're maintaining that interior with Leatherique, TG. It's the best leather interior cleaner and conditioner on the planet.

Cerenkov - I completely agree! My wallet on the other hand is asking for a break!

I am looking at changing the floor mats next. Black with a brown that will hopefully match the toffee.

I think that was the only other brand mentioned consistently when I was trying to decide what leather product to buy. I've always known Lexol to get high marks, so that's what I went with myself.

+1 on the urban cream or gray. I had those floormats with the cloth pinstipe seats 07 MCS and they are very nice.

I do like the Urban mats, but I think I am leaning towards to coco mats.

Not in a MINI - but you get the idea.

Go to a professional auto body supply store and have them mix you an aerosol can of pepper white . You'll need your paint code (850 ?) and the EXACT build date as MINI changed the formulation but not the paint code. Been there.

OEM MINI English Oak shift **** - got it from ECS I believe. Not the cheapest part in the world (~$120) but it helps to tie in the wood dash parts to the rest of the interior.

It begs the question . . . what options are there for shift *****? . . . and yes for our Automatic...

I like our car is a cooper S but I don't find the S on the chrome of the shift **** terribly classy. If it could be offset by something a little nicer or that ties in a little better with the car interior and pops a little more, the S would be much better. Of course our MINI yours interior is cream so that may limit a little

No no no, I much prefer the leather to stay in that soft matt texture.
I've tried the MINI leather product but it's a bit of a disappointment. So I fell back on a Volvo leather care product I love and used for over 9 years now. It's made of two parts. A cleaning agent and a nursing compound. So far I have not find anything else that keeps the leather it's new like texture the way this does. I'm not saying Leatherique isn't a great product but I'm no fan of the shiny leather on car seats. To me, and it's purely a matter of taste, it shinny leather makes it look old. It adds character to a genuine old piece of furniture but add years to our MINI, just my taste .

So far Over 16k miles and not a single stain. The only thing I can't prevent is the stitching from getting darker on high touch point areas. I so wish they'd use dark stitching on light color seat. with a little contrast it would look nicer too.

I could try their cleaning product though. I'm always looking for a better cleaning agent. Something that cleans deeper and remove stains more easily, relieving some of the necessary rubbing, without attacking the leather and its color.

well, Ive got a barely used (~1500 miles) stock Cooper auto **** without the "S" if you're interested. Unfortunately, beyond that, MINI for whatever reason stopped offering color matched leather auto options around the LCI changeover (used to offer Tuscan Beige, but no Polar beige, which is much lighter). Only other choice really is to cover your existing with some custom leather (I've considered rehabbing my unneeded stock **** just to test this idea out). Or you could try one of the more universal type replacement shifters, which I don't personally care too much for.

I've read that Leatherique applies a much shinier finish than Lexol. My Lexol doesn't seem to add any shine, but it does a nice job taking the "ashiness" off of untreated (dry) leather surfaces. I haven't used it yet on my seats, but I'm happy with how it works on my black Nappa surfaces.

I must admit, TG., I'm a bit confused about your comments on Leatherique. I have never, ever had the leather surfaces look "shiny" after using the Leatherique product. The leather is a completely matte finish once the two step process is completed, with no more sheen than existed in the leather new. I also use the Leatherique Conditioner to maintain the leather in between full applications.

Price went up from MINI in the last month or so on the wooden ****. But the Hot chocolate and Tuscan beige are still available in the automatic as well as the wooden one.

Speaking of MINI price changes, I noticed they discontinued those Urban Cream floor mats and the price of the rear set is only $6 now! Do you have any of them left in stock? I don't think MINI is shipping any more to vendors, sadly.
