Roadster de-chrome

I've been working on removing or covering the chrome trim on my R59. Has anyone tried de-chroming the trim on the safety bars between the headrests and top storage area? Looking for suggestions...
Thanks!!

Plasti Dip, I did mine on headlight rims and front grill.

Good Luck.

Thanks dosomething. I considered using that but wasn't sure how well it would cover due to the angle of the bar. Did you remove your trim to spray it or leave it attached?

I was also thinking about using a sheet of vinyl but the angle may make that hard to do also.

The beauty of plasti dip is it goes on just about any shape, just be patient and do a thin layer at a time. I did not take out the HL rims and it works out great. Make sure all other parts are well cover, again good luck.
