R59 Top Down/Top Up Ratio
Pretty impressive. Daily driver or weekend fair-weather fun car?
I need to add mine up again, but I have a feeling that my recent trip to the beach negatively impacted the numbers. It was too hot for my fiancee, so I had to keep the top up most of the way down and back. Got to keep it down while we were there, at least. Which was nice.
just kiddingI cut off 6" of hair (its still long) and keep a brush in the car, sometimes throw on a baseball cap.....and always wear big sunglasses to keep hair out of the eyes. Topless all the way.....but always keep my shirt on
I am not that kinda girl. Did get caught in a downpour....was dry except for the wipers splashing in on drivers side, rolled up that window and was a very fun drive.....especially from the looks of other drivers
THE LATEST STATS:

Nice to see my percentage is up slightly from last month. In just a few days I will have had my Roadster three month. I quite pleased with the numbers. Let's see how easy the top down percentage will be to maintain with Fall approaching.

19,326 miles and 255 hrs 23 minutes as of yesterday. Almost all road miles because I don't like driving in towns or cities unless I have to. Most of the miles have been logged in the sucky weather of Ohio.
It's not extraordinarily precise but for this might be allright especially if your driving habits do not overly change.
You divide your total miles by your average speed. It gives you your total hours driven to which you subtract your total top down.
I made the assumption that with our low mileage the average would not have varied much.
I don't know how the average speed is calculated and if it varies over a shorter period of time or through the total life of the car which I unfortunately doubt...
I'll have to look for a more accurate way to calculate total driven time..

That's what I hoped you would say. I was hoping that you weren't misreading the openometer readout as the second number is a trip meter for the down time. Your numbers both ended in 20 so I thought it was a possibility.

Glad to see that my top down driving percentage was up 4.1% this past month. The top down driving weather in Chicago for September was great. Even with such great weather, I saw many, many convertible owners, of every make and model, driving around with their top up on beautiful days. I'm not sure what the point of owning a convertible is for these drivers. I'm looking forward to the cooler Fall days and the autumnal drives ahead.

And yes September has been awesome.
