I finally took the plunge and did my first mod today on my 13 Roadster S - painted the brake calipers red. I'm very pleased with the end look with the JCW cross-spoke wheels.
Next up: new viper-like stripes for boot and bonnet.

I used G2 paint, which I recommend purchasing from Amazon, as it is cheaper than anywhere else I have seen online. I followed a process roughly similar to what is described at http://www.blimeycabrio.com/?p=12 - though I ended up doing one side at a time.
Overall, the process went really smoothly. In fact, the worst part was when I accidentally got some paint on my hands.

On a different note, I am getting an estimate from a local designer who does Mini stripes/decals. He comes highly recommended by Greasy's Garage, the best independent Mini garage in the area. Hoping to have him do the viper stripes and maybe a custom decal on the boot. I will let you central Mass folks know how that goes.
I just sent out an email to see if they would install my nm Engineering short shift kit and cover seeing I have run out of time.
I wanted to install it before MINI's on TOP.

Great, yeah, for any non-warranty work, I definitively recommend Greasy's. I took my R53 there for years. The owner has two Minis himself and knows the things inside and out. He should be able to help you out.
