Vinyl stickers to hide warnings on Visors, etc

I'm trying to track down a source to purchase vinyl adhesives that go over the warning labels for airbag and other stuff on the visors. Anyone have any links?

You could always remove them. https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...rom-visor.html

I'll have to look again. it almost seemed as if it was printed on at first glance, but this would be even better. Hopefully since i'm doing it soon there wont be a faded outline.

Or get some cheap replacements from a UK model - we don't have warnings on the visors

The factory forgot/didn't install the warning visors on early build 2009 cabrio. No such luck this time :(

There used to be a vinyl guy who sold stickers cut to size here on nam.

I'll bet Lyle can set you up with something by request:

I've bought pre-cut visor vinyls from Aesthetic Creations several years ago but I'm not sure they're still in business.

Nope, Mike got tired of all the carping and pulled up stakes. It appears there is a sub culture that has no patients with the small home business model. A real loss to the MINI world too. His laminated bonnet stripes are near cast iron, two years and close to 15K miles and not a scratch on them.

I used Chem Pads, a presaturated electronics cleaner cloth, to remove the stickers. I took the visors off, rubbed the sticker with the pad, waited a few moments, and with a little elbow grease, wipe the stickers off. Had no outline or discoloration.

Removed mine this week. Paper towel soaked in 91% Isopropyl Alcohol for 10 minutes. Then, I pealed them up. They didn't come off as one piece but they did come off cleanly.

I removed the visors from the car to do it inside. When the sticker was being stubborn, I poured a little alcohol on that area and let it site for a minute, then it came right off.

Tried to remove mine with Goof Off as I'd seen in another thread. Screwed up my visor. The sticker is off but some of the glue seems to be still there as it is a different sheen. Also caused waves in the visor material where the stuff made it loosen up. Ya for me.

The 91% Isopropyl didn't damage them at all. Mile are clean. You can see the slight outline where the stickers were if you look very hard but that doesn't bother me.

My chem pad pack ended up being bone-dry, but i was on a mission. I decided to do paper towels soaked in denatured alcohol. I had zero discoloration or damage to the vinyl, however I do have a slight sheen/faint rectangular area from where the stickers were. It's much better. Heck, even if the vinyl of the visor had discolored or damaged a bit it would look better.

Dudeman, you might try getting some black dye and just redoing the whole visor if it's pretty bad.
