Does anyone know if you can swap a chrome base Roadster grill for a black S Roadster grill..??

 

You should be. They are the same parts. But check out Pelican Parts for the number or just call your dealer's parts department. The other option is to have Vinyl Styles wrap it in vinyl or have a local autobody shop paint it

 

I'd been thinking about taking off the black one from my S and fitting the chrome instead, along with a chrome boot handle cover. Can you post a couple of pics of the front end of your car before you do the swap so I can get an idea what the chrome is like in the flesh on a Roadster? Do you have the JCW aero kit?

 

Wife has the Mini in VT. I will get a pic next week for you. No JCW kit.
