R59 Tint on the Roadster
Tint on the Roadster
Has anyone tinted their windows on their Roadster? I'm wondering if it's smart to tint the side windows and not the rear one. I don't want to end up with scratches on the tint from the roof open and close action. Any thoughts or experience with this? I don't want the car to look weird either if I don't tint the rear window and just the side ones.
Yes. In FL tint is a must. Had the side windows and rear done. No scratches so far on the back.
On the subject of window tint, my son owns a tiny shop and FWIW be sure to find a shop that warranties the work for life and uses Lumaar or SunTek film. Don't let them tell you 3M is best, it's overpriced and really not worth the money.

I just had my windows done last weekend, I did 18% on sides and back. No scratches and the top has been up and down a few times.
It's likely I will forget, but i'll try to get some pics. I just washed it last night and it's gorgeous, but I just never get her out for a photoshoot.
