Hi All,

Has anyone added some protection to the top of the rear bumper? I have seen a few things for the other cars, but nothing for the R58/59. What I would really like is something a little thicker than clear-bra and maybe black. Clear bra is actually softer than the paint and did start to yellow a tad on our last Mini.

Any ideas?

Won't a part for the R56 or the convertible just fit, if you can find something you like?

 

I talked to the guys at Out Motoring and they updated their site to include the Roadster (although, they call it the Speedster) so that option is available. I guess the rear bumper is the same?

I was also looking for maybe something a little thicker and more rubbery than just a thin piece of vinyl... There may not be any clearance for anything thick either... I'll have to look.

Just wondering if anyone else has tackled this yet...

I've seen NAMers with other models get thicker bumper guards from this site. There's nothing specific listed for the roadster but maybe they would know if one would fit?

Just be careful with the out motoring. i had ordered a black jack rear view mirror cover for my "roadster". doesn't fit at all.

their rerun policy is a little prohibitive.
