Got a little misty-eyed just getting to see where my beloved MINI was "born".

I was thinking this morning that, just 60 days or so ago, it was just a pile o' parts at or near Oxford. And now: in my hands, motoring, delivering a high volume of smiles-per-mile.

Unusual still (for me) to see that many MINIs photographed together.

Went for a look today, love it The colour really 'pops' in the sunlight, the brief moment of sun we had!

Looks fabulous. Mine has been tucked away in my garage for almost two weeks now waiting for a gap in the storms... cancelled this weekend away as it doesn't look in any way conducive to top down motoring yet again!

You must be well connected to get to see your new baby at the factory and rolling off the transporter at the dealership!

Nice Coupe. Your weather is just like my weather. Rain and clouds. The Coupe won't care though. But since it is a roadster you have to seek out the sun.

As much time as you've spent with Senna you have to really be looking forward to picking it up. Great looking MINI!

Yea I took a photo of the blue light as it's a new addition to the mood lighting - it's very bright and illuminates the storage area, very nice touch!

 

Is the blue light on all the new Roadsters and Coupes? Or just UK?

 

Should be on all 2012 models as far as I know - would expect it to be worldwide
